Hamburg, July 17. . . The Duke of Mecklemburg having
received news of the death of his spouse, shut himself up
for two days in his chamber, and would see nobody. His
highness has ordered the bells in all his Dutchy to be
tolled for six weeks, and to go into mourning for a year;
but has not sent the least notice of her death to Prince
Christian Louis his brother. . .
