Paris, Feb. 12.  They write from Toul, that a young lady of
quality was brought to bed of a monster, of the figure of a
satyr.  This misfortune is attributed to an entertainment in
the beginning of her pregnancy, where, in a pastoral, she
play'd the part of a nymph, and her husband that of a satyr
who was to ravish a nymph:  Her looking upon him with an
extraordinary attention, gave birth to the accident.
