London, Aug 30. Wednesday Sir Robert Walpole splendidly
entertained her Majesty and Royal Family at his house at
Chelsea, in the most sumptuous manner ever seen in England
on such an occasion; a kitchen was built with 20 places for
fire in the stable-yards. After dinner, the illustrious
guests retired to the banquetting-house to drink tea, where
fine musick was playing in several barges all the time:
Then they return'd to the Green House, being entertain'd
with a ball, and afterwards supp'd.
