Dated Hillsborough, Nov. 1, 1780.
. . . [114 lines, battle of King's Mountain, 5 lines
casualties suffered by the regulars] 
One major, one capt. two serjeants, fifteen privates killed;
thirty five privates wounded, left on the ground not able to
march; two capts. four lieuts. three ensigns, one surgeon,
five serjs. three corpls. one drummer, and forty nine
privates taken prisoners.
