From Rebel Papers.  Boston, Nov. 21.  We have only time to
inform the public, that yesterday arrived here under an
escort of American light dragoons, the hon. John Hancock,
Esq; President of the American Congress, and first major
general of the militia of this state; by his coming into
town sooner than was expected, he avoided some public marks
of respect which would otherwise have been paid him; his
arrival was made known by ringing the bells, the discharge
of thirteen cannon of Col. Craft's park of artillery on the
common,
