The Political Raree-Show. A Dream.
A correspondent passing through High Holburn the other day,
saw an old fellow dressed in the habit of a soldier,
exhibiting a raree-show to some children, at a half penny a
piece, with his-- "there you see the glorious Duke of
Marlborough cutting the French to pieces at Blenheim-- there
you see the great King George the Second, with the French
King kneeling at his feet, there you see Mr. Pitt a writing,
and General Wolf a fighting-- there you see Senegal and
Goree-- there you see Crown-Point and Ticondergoa-- there
you see Cherburg and Bellisle-- there you see the fire works
in the park, " &c.
