Ran away on the night of the 13th inst. from the subscriber,
a Negro man named Caesar, about twenty-two years of age, a
smart, polite, likely, well made fellow, about five feet
three inches high.
. . . It is likely he is gone towards the camp, as he is
very fond of being a fifer or drummer, and may pass for a
free man;
. . . [5 lines on reward terms]
Twenty dollars reward and reasonable charges.
