London, March 27. As Mr. Hodges of Eversham in
Worcestershire, and another gentleman, were lately returning
to that place, in the evening, from Pershore, Mr. Hodges
being in high spirits, and singing "Tally ho! Tally ho!"
they were accosted by a single highwayman with "D--n you,
I'll tally ho you!-- deliver your money, " and at the same
time clapping a pistol to Mr. Hodge's breast, he robbed him
and his companion of their money. However, by a speedy
pursuit, he was taken and committed to Worcester jail.
