London, Jun. 10.  Extract of a letter from Langport, in
Somersetshire, Dec. 28.
We have had great rejoicings in our neighbourhood on account
of the marriage of Lady Hester Pitt, eldest daughter of the
Earl of Chatham, to Lord Viscount Mahone, son of Earl
Stanhope.  The bells at Curry-Rivel (the parish in which
Burton Pysent stands) were rung for five days and nights,
and in all the villages round for two days. . .
