This day the general assembly of this province meets here. 
On Monday last the merchants of this city waited on the
honourable Richard Penn, Esq; our late worthy governor, and
presented the following address. . . [6 paragraphs, address,
response]
  After which the merchants, in a body, attended Mr. Penn to
the State-house, where an elegant entertainment was provided

  Under favour of the commanding officer, the company were
agreeably entertained with several pieces of music,
performed by the band belonging to the troops now quartered
here, and the whole was conducted to the entire satisfaction
of the merchants, . . .
