Extract of a letter from Exeter, October 23.
We had the other day many macaronies at our Assembly, but
the most remarkable was the Hon. Mr.--- who appeared in a
white satin coat, waistcoat, and breeches, white silk
stockings, with large gold clocks, black sattin shoes, with
red heels, a black silk hat with pink lining, hair dressed
to the extremity of the taste, with a club to it the size of
a moderate man's leg, a huge nose-gay, that hid one side of
his face, and in the middle of which hung an elegant essence
bottle.
