Mr. Goddard, I am one who sometimes read plays; but have
never seen one acted.  I have also read arguments for and
against the stage, and am willing to allow, that much may be
said on both sides. . . [1 1/2 column setting forth his view
that the theatre is both lauded and condemned; requests all
parties to answer certain questions: to the players
concerning their role in the argument; leaves the questions
to the spectators for another time.]
