Coote, of the Battle of Plassey, the description, says a
correspondent, answers, in many particulars, to that given
by Foote's Major Sturgeon of the feats performed by the
Militia. They had their marches, and their counter-marches;
they mistook a flock of sheep for an army, and combated a
gibbet and a windmill. . .
