The exhibitor of the Lectures on Heads, returns his most
grateful thanks to the ladies and gentlemen who have
honoured his exhibition with their presence, and takes this
opportunity of acquainting them, and the public in general,
that he intends to open his dancing school on the first of
October next, with a Ball, at which time some of the
scholars, whom he has already taught since his residence in
this city, will perform some new dances: He further begs
leave to acquaint them, that the method he intends teaching
is the newest and most approved, now practiced in all the
polite assemblies in Europe. Exclusive of the minuet,
country dance and Scotch reel, he teaches (such of his
pupils as he finds has a capacity) the Allemande, Cotillon
and Louvre, and takes particular care with respect to their
dancing a proper country dance step, without any extra
charge; and he humbly submits to the candid public, how to
determine between him and others of the profession with
respect to their abilities. The conducting his school with
the utmost decorum shall be his constant study.
  N.B. He also teacheth fencing.
