A Short Character of a Slanderer.
[Description of the evils from slander]
Shakespear hath nobly touch'd this vice when he says, 
"Who steals my purse, steals trash, 'tis something, nothing,

"'Twas mine, 'twas his, and hath been slave to thousands;
"But he that filches from me my good name, robs me of that
"Which not enriches him, and makes me poor indeed."
