Baltimore Town, May 1, 1770.  Ran away from the subscriber,
an indented servant man, named John Green, a shoemaker by
trade, born in Ireland; about 24 years of age, 5 feet 9
inches high, a likely well made man, has a good countenance,
wears his own dark brown hair, smooth faced, and has but
little beard, has a scar near his mouth, speaks good
English, and can talk in the native Irish dialect, says he
served several years in the Earl of Drogheda's regiment of
light dragoons; took with him a blue cloth coat. . . [9
lines, clothing] he is a good workman and a good fiddler. .
