What a pretty farce would such ladies play on the scene of
matrimony. Instead of wisdom governing all their actions,
you would see nothing by confusion and disorder.--A total
neglect of family duty, and Madam amusing herself with the
toys of Miss-in-her-Teens, while her desponding "Benedict"
is sighing for his lost liberty, and is cruelly reproached
as being one of your "Sleepy husbands." I am, Sir, Your
