London. . . October 4.  We hear that his late royal Highness
the Duke of York had fatigued himself with dancing at a ball
on the 29th of August, yet immediately after set out for
Toulon, three or four leagues distant, only wrapping himself
up in his cloak; the next day his Royal Highness complained
of a slight chilness and shivering; the indisposition,
however, appeared so very trifling, that he went at night to
the comedy; but before it was over his Royal Highness found
himself much worse, and was obliged to withdraw. . . [and
within a few days, died of the fever.]
