Elizabeth-Town, July 28, 1767.  Last night a notorious riot
was committed in this town, by the officers and soldiers of
the 28th regiment quartered here.  About one o'clock in the
morning, the town was alarmed by the ringing of the bells,
and firing a gun from the Court-house.  It seems that the
party was ordered to march at four o'clock this morning. . .
