Ten pounds reward.  Ran away from the subscriber, living in
Macongie township, Northampton county, a mulatto slave, and
an English servant man: . . . The servant man (named Joseph
Reed) speaks broad English, is about 22 years old, 5 feet 5
or 6 inches high, of a fresh coloured fair complexion, has
short dark brown curled hair, and blue eyes; is fond of
singing, and loves liquor.  They took with them two white
demity waistcoats, two pair of white twilled linen breeches
. . . [7 lines, clothes] a new pair of channel pumps, a
violin and two guns. . . [details] five pounds for either of
them, and reasonable charges, paid by me [signed] Daniel
Brodhead . . .
