Hanover, August, 16 N.S. On Tusday last his Majesty,
accompanied by their Royal Highnesses the Duke of Cumberland
and the Princess Mary of Hesse, and attended by a great
croud of nobility, were at Nicholin's Theatre, where the
Dutch children performed a pantomine opera, call'd The Tomb
of Harlequine, with universal applause, the scenes being so
fine and the machinery so well managed, that in a age less
learned then the present, it might have passed upon the
spectators for enchantment. On the 14th the court were at
the playhouse, and saw a comedy called The Talents a la-
mode; and yesterday his Majesty and the Duke of Cumberland
went to see the King's Meuse. . . [continues]
