Turin, Octo.24. On the 22d an officer arrived here from the
army of the King, preceded by several postilions sounding
their horns, who brought news to the Prince Royal, that the
day before the French and Spaniards had raised the siege of
Coni, and that their army was retiring towards Demont, in
order to go back, part into Savoy, and part into Provence.
His Majesty, upon imparting this news to the Prince,
directed him to repair immediately to Coni, to assist there
at a Te Deum to be sung upon raising the siege of the place.
