"Solemnities" of declaring war against Spain:]
. . . The officers of arms, with the serjeants at arms, and
trumpeters, mounted their horses in the stable-yard, St.
James's, and proceeded thence to the palace gate. . . [11

hand the Deputy Steward, Knight Marshal's men. Knight
