[From the Gentleman's Magazine, Dec. 17.  In a detailed
description of Queen Caroline's funeral in the Collegiate
Church of Westminster:] . . . As soon as the procession came
to the north door of Wistminister-Abby, the Lord Bishop of
Rochester, as Dean and the prebendaries, with the masters,
schollars, and choir belonging to the same, and the Choir of
the Chapell Royal, attinding there in their proper habits,
with wax tapers in their hands, and the Dean and the
prebendaries in their copes; they all joined in the
procession, next before Norroy King at Arms, and the moment
the Royal corpse entered the church, they began to sing the
anthem in the burial service, which lasted till the whole
procession passed thro' the north and south isles of the
church, to K. Henry VIIth's Chapel, . . . [34 lines]  Then
followed another anthem composed on purpose for this soelmn
occasion: After which they all returned in the same order
the nearest way, thro' the tombs to the north door of the
Abbey; where the Dean and prebendaries, the masters, and
scholars, and choir of Westminister, with the choir of the
Chapel Royol, attended till the whole procession was gone
out of the church. . . [15 lines] During the whole
solemnity, the great bells of the Cathedral of St. Paul, and
of many churches in London and Westminster were tolled. . .
