I am glad of this opportunity to give you an account of the
taking of the three Moravian Indian congregations. . . [24
lines] All night they [the Wiondat nation] danced the war
dance and made a most shocking noise. All the good words
the old men, &c. used to persuade them to leave off had no
effect: but their entreaties, to move them to humane
behaviour, enraged them the more, and they grew worse every
day. . .
