Theatre.  For the benefit of Mr. Hemsworth, prompter.  On
Friday, March 9, will be presented, the tragedy of 
Douglas. 
To which will be added, a farce (never performed here)
called, 
The Cross Puposes. 
The characters by gentlemen of the army.
No money will be taken at the door.  Tickets to be purchased
at the time of registering places for the boxes, for which
purpose the clerk will attend at Mrs. Petit's, next door to
the theatre, from eleven o'clock till two, every day, after
the play is advertised.  The doors to be opened at five, and
to begin precisely at seven o'clock.  The gentlemen who have
taken places in the boxes, are desired to send servants at
four o'clock,  that they may be fixed before the doors are
opened.  Tickets to be had of Messrs. Rivington and Gaine. 
Box 8s . Pit 8s. Gallery 4s.  Vivant & Regina.
Wanted, for the theatre, two or three copies of The Cross
Purposes.
