most gracious sovereign King George the Third, when he
entered the 46th year of his age, was celebrated here with

And, in the evening, a splendid ball was given by Commodore
Sir Edmund Asileck[?], and the captains of his Majesty's
fleet, at Roubalet's tavern, where a very numerous company
were present; in short the anniversary was commemorated in
the handsomest manner possible. At Flat-Bush, on Long-
Island, the ladies and gentlemen of that village were most
elegantly entertained at a truly splendid ball and supper,
in honour of the day, by the officers of his Serene Highness
the Prince of Waldeck's regiment.
