Theatre. This evening, the 5th instant, will be presented,
the comedy of 
The Inconstant, or the Way to win him.
To which (by desire) will be added a farce, (not performed
this season) called 
The Lying Valet. 
The characters by gentlemen of the army.
No admittance behind the scenes. Tickets to be purchased at
the time of registering places for the boxes, for which
purpose the clerk will attend at Mrs. Petit's, next door to
the theatre, from 11 o'clock till 2, every day after the
play is advertised. The doors to be opened at 5, and the
play to begin precisely at 7 o'clock. The gentlemen who have
taken places in the boxes, are desired to send their
servants at 4 o'clock, that they may  be fixed before the
doors are opened. 
N.B. The departure of the fleet on Monday last, deprived the
Theatre of several gentlemen who were to have performed that
evening; the play of Henry the IVth is necessarily postponed
for the present, but is in rehearsal, and intended to
succeed the Inconstant. No money will be taken at the door.
Tickets to be had of Messrs. Rivington and Gaine.  Vivant
Rex & Regina.
