This evening will be exhibited, at the sign of the stove
grate, nearly opposite the Coffee-House, and next to the
Hessian guard-house, The Chinese Umbra, on an entire new
construction; with a variety of devices, of lively colours,
such as ships sailing on the waves, a representation of the
sun and moon, with a view of Noah's ark, the flood,
Paradise, &c.&c.and the diverting scenes of Mr. Punch; the
whole forming an entertainment that cannot but be acceptable
to the curious. The smallness of the room confines the
number of tickets to 16[?] which are to be had, price 2s.
6d.at the place of exhibition.
