presented, a tragedy, (never performed at this theatre)
called
The Distress'd Mother. With the original prologue.
To which will be added, (by particular desire) the ballad
farce of
Flora; or Hob in the Well.
In which will be introduced the favourite song of "Lads and
Lasses."
The characters by gentlemen of the army.
Box tickets to be had only of Mr. Petit, next door to the
theatre. Pit and gallery, at Mr. Rivington's, Mr. Gaine's,
and of Mr. Petit. The doors to be opened at 5, and to begin
precisely at 7 o'clock. No money can possibly be received
at the door, as the number of tickets are issued which the
house will hold. The managers having repeatedly pointed out
the necessity of sending servants in due time, to secure
places taken in the boxes, beg leave once more to request
the attention of the public to that regulation, otherwise
they will not consider themselves as responsible for any
disappointment that may happen from such neglect. No persons
can be admitted behind the scenes. Vivant Rex & Regina.
