Theatre-Royal. (By particular desire) On Wednesday evening,
the 23d inst. will be performed the tragedy of 
Tamerlane.
In act the fourth, will be introduced the favourite song of
"To thee, O gentle Sleep," between the play and
entertainment, will be sung some favourite catches.
To which be added a farce, (never performed here) called, 
The Anatomist; or, The Sham Doctor. 
The characters by gentlemen of the army.
Tickets to be had at Mr. Petit's, and the different
printers.  Places for the boxes to be registered at Mr.
Petit's, next door to the Theatre, otherwise they cannot be
kept.  The doors to be opened at 5, and to begin precisely
at 7 o'clock.  The managers having repeatedly pointed out
the necessity of sending servants in due time, to secure
places taken in the boxes, beg leave once more to request
the attention of the public to that regulation, otherwise
they will not consider themselves as responsible for any
disappointment that may happen from such neglect. Vivant Rex
