Theatre in John-Street. The gentlemen of the navy and army
engaged in the Charitable Society, give notice, that not
being able in time to get up the Inconstant, they will
perform on Thursday the comedy of the Beaux Stratagem, with
the farce of, the Duce is in Him; for the relief of such of
the distressed inhabitants of New-York as may be deemed
objects of charity. Tickets to be had of David Matthews,
Esq; Mayor, William Waddell, Esq; Alderman, and of the
printer.
