Wednesday evening last arrived at Newark, in their way to
the Provincial Camp at Cambridge, the lady of his Excellency
General Washington, the lady of Adjutant General Gates, John
Curtis, Esq; and his lady, and Warner Lewis, Esq; They were
escorted from Elizabeth-Town by the Company of Light Horse,
and most of the principal gentlemen of that borough, and on
their arrival at Newark, the bells were set ringing. . . [8
