Extract of a letter from Oxford, dated July 8, at seven
o'clock in the morning. "On Monday evening at 9 o'clock the
Right Hon. Lord North, our Chancellor, with his lady, &c.
arrived here. . . His Lordship dined with the Duke of
Marborough, president of the Infirmary, and the Trustees at
the Town-Hall, and afterwards went to the oratorio of Judas
Maccabeus, which was performed at the Theatre to a
prodigious crouded audience.,,"
