Naples, January 14. The air of this place seems to have a
favourable influence on his Royal Highness the Duke of
Gloucester's health, which improves daily. The Court came
to town from Portici on Friday last, and the next evening. .
. their Majesties conducted his Royal Highness to the
private Theatre of the Court, where a comic opera was
performed by a company brought for that occasion from one of
the public theatres. . . .On Sunday evening his Royal
Highness went to the Great Theatre, which was illuminated,
it being the King's birth-day; on which occasion there was
in the morning a Grand Gala at Court. . .
