We are authoris'd to inform the publick, that the gentleman
who is to appear this evening, in the character of Othello,
has displayed, at the rehearsals, some very amazing strokes
of theatrical genius. We are informed, that the reasons why
the pit is made box price, this evening, are first, in
compliment to the gentlemen who are to perform; next, on
account of a new set of scenes, which were painted at a
great expence, for the occasion; and, because the demand for
boxes has been so great, that the director of the theatre,
could not, otherwise accommodate one half of the ladies and
gentlemen who have applied for places.
