By permission of his Excellency the Governor. For the
benefit of Mrs. Harman. By the American Company, at the
Theatre, in John-street, this present evening, being the
16th of May, will be presented, a tragedy, call'd, 
The Distrest Mother.
Pyrrhus, by Mr. Douglass,  Orestes, by Mr. Hallam,  Pylades,
by Mr. Morris,  Phoenix, by Mr. Tomlinson,  Hermione, by
Miss Cheer,  Cephisa, by Miss Storer,  Cleone, by Miss
Hallam,  Andromache, by Mrs. Harman.
After the play, a song, by Miss M. Storer.
And after the entertainment, Mr. Hallam will present the
audience, with a Picture of 
A Play-House, or, Bucks have at you All.
To which will be added, a musical entertainment, called, 
Thomas and Sally, or, The Sailor's Return.
The 'Squire, by Mr. Woolls,  The Sailor, by Mr. Wall, 
Dorcas, by Mrs. Harman,  Sally, by Miss Wainwright. 
To begin at half after six o'clock.  Vivant Rex & Regina.
Tickets to be had at usual places, and of Mrs. Harman, at
Mr. Manny's, in Nassau Street.
