London . . . [6 paragraphs]  Tuesday the peace was declared
at Petersburgh, all the ministers of state and all the
general were, by the emperor's order, invited to the palace,
where the great chancellor, passing from his imperial
majesty's apartment to that where they were assembled,
informed that an eternal peace (that was his expression) was
just concluded between Russia, and Prussia . . . They then
all partook of a sumptuous banquet at the palace, where
after the health of the Czar and Czarina, that the King of
Prussia was drank, accompanied with the sound of drums and
trumpets, and repeated discharge of all their artillery.
