Edinburgh, Sept. 18.  Last Thursday being appointed for
laying the foundation stone of the new exchange of the city,
by the Grant Master Mason of Scotland; about two o'clock in
the afternoon . . . during which the Masons anthem was first
played by the musick alone, and then sung, all the musick
and brethren joining in the chorus, and the musick continued
to play the anthem by themselves during the rest of the
ceremony. . . .
