Run away from the subscriber, in Charlotte precinct, Nine-
Partners, on the night of Wednesday the 30th of August last
past, a spry well made Negro man, commonly known by the name
of Pomp, formerly Cambridge, about 5 feet 10 inches high,
upwards of 30 years of age. . . [5 more lines of
description] and is a fiddler, but had no fiddle with him. 
It is supposed he is gone towards the enemy's lines, and
will endeavour to get into New-York.  Whoever takes up and
returns the said Negro, or confines him in any gaol, giving
notice so that I may get him again, shall receive one
hundred dollars reward, besides all reasonable charges.
