[Within a letter "To the Jersey Farmer"] Here let me adopt
the language of a Cato, and cry out, O Liberty! O my
country! O my friends! Or that of a Cato's son---
--"Is there not some chosen curse,
Some hidden thunder in the stores of heaven,
Red with uncommon wrath, to blast the man
Who owes his greatness to his country's ruin?"
