Mr. Hoar, desires to inform the public, and more especially
his former scholars, whose favour, he flatters himself, is
secured by his assiduous attention to their improvement;
that he purposes, on Monday the 20th inst. September, to
open his dancing-school, for the ensuing season, at his
rooms in King-street, in the house lately occupied by Capt.
Alexander M'Donald; on the same plan, terms, and rules,
which have been heretofore presented to the public, and may
now be seen at that place. The advantages which many of his
scholars received, in the course of a short tuition give him
the pleasing expectations, that their parents will indulge
him with their good offices in his behalf. Mr. Hoar, in a
particular manner, wishes that the young gentlemen of this
city, from a number of whom, he has already experienced many
acts of friendship, may know that he has procured from
London, a capital master, in the science of defence, on a
proper management of the single rapier, who will assist him
in that department, at the time appropriated for the
teaching of so valuable an accomplishment; which, with the
terms, will hereafter be made known.
