[News from London] A prodigious concourse of people
assembled on Tower Hill, where a temporary stage had been
built with back seats, on which appeared eight divines,
seven of whom had been educated at the sole charge of the
Countess of Huntingdon, who was present. After psalm-
singing, a sermon was preached by the Rev. Mr. Piercy,
Chaplain to the countess, suitable to the occasion, the
aforesaid gentlemen being to sail as missionaries to
America.
