Extract a of letter from a gentleman in the suite of his
Royal Highness the Duke of Glocester, dated Pisa December 5.
. . [8 lines introducing party aboard the Trident] "The ship
was splendidly and elegantly fitted up for the reception of
these illustrious guests; the lower deck guns were fired
upon the occasion, and the evening concluded iwth a
magnificent masked ball and supper . . . [2 more lines] "On
the 4th, his Royal Highness dined with Prince Corsini, when
the English nobility before-named were invited, and in the
evening the Grand Duke gave a ball and supper.
