By permission of his Excellency the Governor.  For the
benefit of Mr. Woolls.  By the American Company, at the
Theatre, in John-Street, this evening, being Thursday the
1st of June, 1769, will be presented, a tragedy, (not acted
this season) call'd, 
The Earl of Essex.
The epilogue by Miss Cheer.
To which will be added, (the second time) 
The Padlock.
To begin exactly at 7 o'clock.  Vivant Rex & Regina. 
Tickets to be had at H. Gaine's, in Hanover-Square; John
Patridge, at the Theatre and of Mr. Woolls.
