Peter Vianey, continues to teach music, fencing and dancing,
at Mrs. Hayes's, opposite to the Hon. John Watts's, near the
Exchange. He proposes to open his public dancing school on
the first Monday of October; where he will teach minuets,
and French country-dances, at a pistole a quarter, and a
pistole entrance.--He teaches--ladies or gentlemen in
private, either at home or at their own houses, at a pistole
a month, and a pistol entrance. As he teaches in the style
of the best masters in Europe, and their manner is
discoverable in his scholars, tho' none of them have yet had
time to be perfected in their minuets, he makes no doubt of
being honour'd with the further protection and countenance
of those ladies and gentlemen who have hitherto employ'd
him. Having been informed that he has been mistaken for a
dancing-master, whose behaviour to his scholars gave just
offence in this city some years ago, he takes the liberty to
inform those who are not acquainted with him, that he never
was in this country, till the year 1764. And that all who
know him, will do him the justice to testify that his
conduct has ever been regular, and unexceptionable.--
