By permission of his Excellency the Governor.  For the
benefit of Mrs. Harman. By the American Company. At the
Theatre in John-Street, on Monday evening, being the 16th of
May, will be presented, a tragedy, call'd 
The Distrest Mother.
Pyrrhus, by Mr. Douglass,  Orestes, by Mr. Hallam,  Pylades,
by Mr. Morris,  Phoenix, by Mr. Tomlinson,  Hermione, by
Miss Cheer.  Cephisa, by Miss Storer,  Cleone, by Miss
Hallam,  Andromache, by Mrs. Harman.
After the play, a song, by Miss M. Storer.
And after the entertainment, Mr. Hallam will present the
audience, with A Picture of a Play-House, or, Bucks have at
you All.
To which will be added, a musical entertainment, call'd, 
Thomas and Sally, or, The Sailor's Return.
The 'Squire, by Mr. Woolls, 
The Sailor, by Mr. Wall, 
Dorcas, by Mrs. Harman, 
Sally, by Miss Wainwright.
To begin exactly at half after six o'clock.  Tickets, to be
had at the usual places, and of Mrs. Harman, at Mr. Many's,
in Nassau-Street.  Boxes, 8s.  Pit, 5s.  Gallery, 3s.
