By permission of his Excellency the Governor for the benefit
of Mr. Henry, by the American Company, at the Theatre in
John-Street, to-morrow evening, being the 13th of May, will
be presented, a tragedy, call'd 
Venice Preserv'd, or, A Plot Discover'd.
Pierre, by Mr. Hallam,  Jaffier, by Mr. Henry,  Priuli, by
Mr. Douglass,  Renault, by Mr. Morris,  Bedamar, by Mr.
Wall,  Duke by Mr. Tomlinson,  Conspirators, by Mr. Woolls,
Mr. Greville, Mr. Malone, Mr. Raworth, Mr. Roberts, etc. 
Attendants, by Mrs. Wall, and Mrs. Tomlinson. Belvidera, by
Miss Cheer. With entertainments, viz.  End of Act Second,
(As in the Blooming Spring) by Miss M. Storer. End of Act
Third, (The Lark's shrill Notes) by Miss Storer. End of the
play (by desire) an Epilogue by Somebody, in the character
of Nobody, being a satire on Everybody, without offence to
Anybody.
Between the acts of the farce (Through the Wood Laddie) by
Miss M. Storer.
To which will be added, a farce, (never perform'd in
America) call'd, 
Love A-La-Mode.  (Being the only time of its being performed
this season)
Sir Callaghan O'Brallaghan, (with songs) by Mr. Henry,  Sir
Archy Macsardasm, by Mr. Douglass,  Squire Groom, by Mr.
Hallam,  Besu Mordecai, by Mr. Morris,  Sir Theodore
Goodchild, by Mr. Tomlinson,  Charlotte, by Miss Hallam. The
whole to conclude with (God Save The King) by Mr. Woolls,
Miss Wainwright, Miss Hallam, Miss F. Storer, Miss M.
Storer, etc. etc.   
N.B. By desire the play will not begin till 7 o`clock.
Vivant Rex & Regina.  No person on any pretence whatsoever,
can be admitted behind the scenes. Tickets, to be had at the
usual places, and of Mr. Henry, at Mr. Bryan's, near the New
Dutch Church.  Boxes, 8s. Pit, 5s. Gallery, 3s.
The above farce has been acted with more success than any
dramatic piece in the memory of man, for since it was first
presented to the town, it has been performed to crowded
audiences one hundred and fifty seven nights, and is still
constantly play'd at least once a week, at the Theatre Royal
in Covent Garden.
