American Company.  At the Theatre in John-Street, on Friday
evening, being the 8th of April, will be presented, a comedy
call'd, 
The Wonder, A Woman keeps a Secret! 
Don Felix, by Mr. Hallam,  Col. Briton, by Mr. Wall,  Gibby,
by Mr. Douglass,  Don Lopez, by Mr. Morris,  Don Pedro, by
Mr. Tomlinson,  Lissardo, by Mr. Greville,  Frederic, by Mr.
Woolls,  Isabella, by Miss Hallam,  Flora, by Miss
Wainwright,  Inis, by Mrs. Harman,  Violante, by Miss Cheer.
To conclude with a country dance by the characters, 
To which will be added, for the entertainment of the
Cherokee C[hief] and Warriors, 
Harlequin Collect[or] or, The Miller Decei[ved].

Raworth, Mr. Roberts, Miss Hallam, Mi[   ]son, Mrs. Wall,
etc. etc. Colombine, by Miss Cheer. 
*The Cherokee Chiefs and Warriors desirous of making some
return for the friendly reception, [   ] civilities they
have received in this city, have offered to [   ] the public
with, 
The War Dance [   ] which they will exhibit on the stage,
after the pantomime. 
It is humbly presumed, that no part of the audience [   ]
forget the proper decorum so essential to all public
assemblies, particularly on this occasion, as the persons
who have condescended to contribute to their entertainment,
are of rank and consequence in their own country. To begin
exactly at six o'clock. Vivant Rex & Regina.  No person on
any pretence whatsoever, can be admitted behind the scenes.
Tickets, to be had at Mr. Gaine's, at the Bible and Crown,
in Hanover-Square, and of Mr. Lansdown at Mr. Hayes's, in
the area of the theatre.
Places in the boxes, may be taken of Mr. Broadbelt, at the
stagedoor.--Ladies will please to send their servants, to
keep their places, at four o'clock. Boxes, 8s. Pit, 5s.
