A letter from London mentions, "that the celebrated
historian, Mrs. McAulay, (with a select party of her
friends) was entertained on board the ship Duchess of
Gordon, Capt. Wynne. . . [7 lines] 
As soon as the company embarked, the music in the barge
played Handel's Water-piece, till they came under the ship's
stern, when it ceased, and the band in the ship begun with
The hero comes, till Mrs. Macaulay was on board, and then
chang'd to Rule Britannia. . . [5 lines]
